No — they are Microsoft Surface devices previously used in an education environment at one of the Cornerstone Academy Trust schools. Every unit has been inspected, factory reset and cleaned.
Is my child's school selling these devices?
No. This offer is promoted and managed independently by edulaptops.com. Devices are not sold by any school or academy trust, and purchase is entirely optional. Schools do not handle payments.
Will the device be wiped before I receive it?
Yes. Every device is fully data-wiped before sale — no school or pupil data is retained — and arrives with a fresh installation of Windows 11, ready to set up as your own.
What is included in a purchase?
Every purchase includes the Surface tablet, its official keyboard (Type Cover or Signature Keyboard) and charging unit. Also included in the purchase is a Microsoft Office 365 package, provided you have a child in full-time education at at one of the participating schools. No hidden extras needed to get started with homework and home learning.
How do I receive my order?
Orders are collected in person from one of our participating school collection points. At checkout you will be shown the collection points available to you — simply choose whichever is most convenient.
The options you see depend on stock at each location, so a collection point will only appear if every item in your basket is available there. If your preferred school is not listed, try ordering the devices separately or select an alternative collection point.
Collection is between 2:00pm and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Please wait for your “Ready for collection” email before travelling, and bring your order confirmation and a form of photo ID.
